Our Story
Maison Pierre is a small collection of boutique hotels in some of the UK’s most iconic locations.
A former Admiral of the Fleet’s residence in Royal William Yard, Plymouth, and a stone-built inn dating back to 1860 on the edge of the Yorkshire moors in Ilkley. Both buildings have history. Both have been furnished with ultimate comfort in mind and run with a French sensibility.
The kind of care that makes it more than just a cheeky night away — a stay that you’ll keep in the memory bank.
Our Philosophy
We are not recreating France. We are looking at Britain the way a French person with great taste would. Slowly, carefully, with strong opinions about light and sound and the right coffee.

Maison Pierre currently has two distinct destinations, each with its own story and spirit:
Admiral’s House, Royal William Yard, Plymouth:
A Grade II* admiral’s residence inside Royal William Yard, one of the finest Georgian naval complexes in Europe. The sea is close. Bistrot Pierre is closer.
Crescent Inn, Ilkley, Yorkshire:
A handsome inn at the edge of the Yorkshire moors. The kind of place that makes you want to arrive on a Friday and leave on a Monday, reluctantly.
